Psalm 84:2-3, Revelations 20:1-4, 11-21:2, Luke 21:29-33, Psalm 84:3-6, 8

Mass Reading for today: Revelations 20:1-4, 11-21:2, Luke 21:29-33, Psalm 84:3-6, 8

Psalm 84:2-3 2 O Lord, our Lord, how great is your name throughout the earth! And your glory in the heavens above. 3 Even the mouths of children and infants exalt your glory in front of your foes and put to shame enemies and rebels.

To come to You, to remain with You, to look up any time and have my gaze meet Yours. To never be parted from You forever. This is happiness. This is joy beyond my wildest dreams. I want more of You every single day. To consume You and be consumed by You.

Revelations 21:2
2 I saw the new Jerusalem, the holy city coming down from God, out of heaven, adorned as a bride prepared for her husband.

We long for the day Beloved, when You will come for Your Bride, the Church, who will adorned with every grace, beauty and virtue and whom You will present to the Father without stain or wrinkle.

Luke 21:33
33
heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

This verse is indeed very comforting for those who trust Your Word and know it to be true. It is the coin by which we live by and gives meaning, hope and beauty to our lives. It is Your Word that sustains us and gives us the strength to go on despite the difficulties and hardships that we must face sometimes. If we did not put our faith in Your Word, life would be impossible to live.

Psalm 84:3-6 &
3 My soul yearns, pines, for the courts of the Lord.
My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.
4 Even the sparrow finds a home,
and the swallow a nest where she may lay her young,
at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God!
5 Happy are those who live in your house,
continually singing your praise!
6 Happy the pilgrims whom you strengthen,
to make the ascent to you.
8 They go from strength to strength
till they appear before God in Zion.

My Beloved, I began this morning's praise with the opening verse of this psalm and the liturgy of the day continues to speak to me through the following verses. My home is in Your Church. The children in our family have grown before Your Presence. Your strength has enabled us go on and You have reached down time and time again to lift us up and help us on our way to Your Kingdom. Thank You, Beloved.
