Sirach 39:5-6, Psalm 118:13-15

Sirach 39:5-6
5 Early in the morning his (my) heart is set on turning to the Lord, his (my) Maker, and raising his (my) being to the Most High. He (I) open (s) his (my) mouth in prayer and make (s) supplication because of his (my) sins.  6 If such is the will of the great Lord he (I) will be filled with the spirit of discernment.

Psalm 118:13-15
13 I was pushed hard and about to fall,  but the Lord came to my help.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
15 Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just.

How true Beloved.  I thought that I would grieve and mourn for a long, long time but You have shown me that I must rejoice that my Sandy is now with You and a fitting tribute to her would be my life well lived.  She preached more powerfully than words through her suffering.  Praise You Lord!!!

John 20:31
There were many signs that Jesus gave in the presence of His disciples, but they are not recorded in this book.  These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; believe and you will have life through His Name.

Beloved, Sandy believed that You are the Christ the Son of God, believing she has life - eternal life through Your Name.  Alleluia!!

Psalm 63:2-9, Acts 4:13, 20

Psalm 63:2-9
2 O God, you are my God, it is you I seek;
for you my body longs and my soul thirsts,
as a dry and weary land without water.
3 Thus have I gazed upon you in the sanctuary,
to see your power and your glory.
4 Your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
5 I will bless you as long as I live,
lift up my hands and call on your name.
6 As with the richest food my soul will feast;
my mouth will praise you with joyful lips.
7 When I remember you on my bed
I think of you all through the night,
8 for you have been my help;
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
9 My soul clings to you,
your right hand upholds me.

My Beloved, I want to long for You and hunger and thirst for You as the Psalmist who wrote these lines longed for You and hungered and thirsted for You.  Grant me this grace my Beloved.

Acts 4:13
13 The elders and scribes were astonished at the boldness of Peter and John, considering that they were  uneducated and untrained men.  They recognized, also, that they had been with Jesus. 20 "We cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and  heard."  Then the council threatened them once more an dlet them go.  They could find no way of punishing them because of the people who glorified God for what had happened.

May all who know me and see me recognise that I have been with Jesus.  I have seen Him, tasted Him and I become one with Him in the Eucharaist.  May my witness be so powerful that all who hear me  glorify God for all that has happened.

Psalm 118:14-21
14 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. 15 Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just: “The right hand of the Lord strikes mightily, 16 the right hand of the Lord is lifted high, the right hand of the Lord strikes mightily!” 17 I shall not die, but live to proclaim what the Lord has done. 18 The Lord has stricken me severely, but he has saved me from death. 19 Open to me the gates of the Just, and let me enter to give thanks.  20 “This is the Lord’s gate, through which the upright enter.”  21 I thank you for having answered me, for having rescued me.

The Lord has enabled our Sandy to partake in His passion and death and His triumph over death in the Resurrection.

I too have a mission my Beloved.  It is to testify that death is part of life.  It is a reality that must be faced.  We are only pilgrims and we must train our minds towards heaven for that is our goal and our destination.

"Follow Me!

Stop weeping and mourning  the reality - the greater reality is this - that Sandy is now with me.  This is the purpose of every life that is created to live on earth as a pilgrim on the way to  heaven.  Yes, there is a time for weeping and mourning but after the tears must come an awareness of the truth that where I am there my servants will be.

The time has come to wipe away the tears and rejoice because Sandy isnow in the company of the angels and saints and beholds the Beatific Vision.  She now lives triumphantly.

Rejoice!!!"

Luke 24:45-48

Luke 24:45-48
45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.  And he went on, 46 “You see what was written: the Messiah had to suffer and on the third day rise from the dead. 47 Then repentance and forgiveness in his name would be proclaimed to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 Now you shall be witnesses to this.

My Beloved, please open my mind to understand all that has happened in the light of Your Word.  You have called all of us who are baptized to witness, to mission, to proclaiming the Good News.  You bless us always and make Yourself available to us in the Eucharist and through the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit.  I am called to be a joy filled Christian, one who knows the truth and whom the Truth has set free.

Give me the grace I need to allow the Holy Spirit to form me in Your image and Likeness.  Mary, my Mama pray for me.

Psalm 105:1-9, Luke 24:30-31

Psalm 105:1-9
1 Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his works among the nations. 2 Sing to him, sing his praise, proclaim all his wondrous deeds. 3 Glory in his holy name; let those who seek the Lord rejoice.  4 Look to the Lord and be strong; seek his face always. 5 Remember his wonderful works, his miracles and his judgments, 6 you descendants of his servant Abraham, you sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! 7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments reach the whole world. 8 He remembers his covenant forever, his promise to a thousand generations, 9 the covenant he made with Abraham, the promise he swore to Isaac.

My Beloved, Your purpose for my life is that I must give thanks to You for every circumstance in my life.  I must call on Your Holy Name without ceasing.  I must speak of all that You have done always.  I must sing praise and proclaim the wonders of the work You have done.  Your Name must be my peace, joy and blessing.  I must seek my strength from You and You alone.  You who dwell in me, in the tabernacle, in the Eucharist, in nature and in my neighbor. I must constantly recall Your goodness which will give me hope, strength an dcourage.  The Lord, my Beloved will never forget that He is mine and I am His.

Luke 24:30-31
13 That same day, two of them were going to Emmaus, a village seven miles from Jerusalem, 14 and they talked about what had happened. 15 While they were talking and wondering, Jesus came up and walked with them.

30 When they were at table, he took the bread, said a blessing, broke it and gave each a piece. 31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; but he vanished out of their sight.

My Beloved walk with me as You walked with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus and do not abandon me my Lord. I need Your help.  I need Your strength, I need Your courage during these times that are ahead.  May I recognise You always in the Breaking of the Bread.
