"Love Me with your heart, mind, soul body and spirit.  Love Me from the minute you wake up in the morning, love me through the day, love me at night when your eyes are closed in sleep.  Love Me with every breath you breathe.  With every heartbeat and pulse beat say you love Me. Long for Me with your entire being.  Yearn for Me.  Raise yourself constantly to Me so that I who am yearning for you and leaning down towards you constantly, can grasp you and lift you up to Myself and hold you close to me.  There are very few who love Me.  The world is a cold, hard, sinful place and I am abandoned, feared and forgotten by many.  Console Me with your love.  Talk to me.  Tell Me how much you love Me.  Keep  your gaze fixed on Me.  Do all for my greater glory and because you love Me.  I thirst for the love of mankind.  Quench my great thirst with your love.

John 13:16-20

John 13:16-20
16 Truly, I say to you, the servant is not greater than his master, nor is the messenger greater than he who sent him. 17 Understand this, and blessed are you if you put it into practice.  18 I am not speaking of you all, because I know the ones I have chosen and the Scripture has to be fulfilled that says, "The one who shared my table has risen against me."19 I tell you this now before it happens, so that when it does happen, you may know that I am He. 20 Truly, I say to you, whoever welcomes the one I send, welcomes me, and whoever welcomes me, welcomes the One who sent me.”

Beloved, in these verses of the Gospel,You show us what servant leadership means.  You washed the feet of Your disciples and You demonstrated in action what is expected from us who call ourselves Your disciples. You want us to understand what You have done.  You are God and the Son of God and You removed Your outer garment and put on an apron (the garment of a servant), You knelt down in humility at the feet of Your creatures and You washed their feet.  Later, You would suffer the humiliation of the cruellest of punishments, meant to shame the worst of criminals.  There on the Cross, hanging between heaven and earth You washed away the sins of the entire human race.

Thank You my Beloved.

Isaiah 66:1, 12-14

Isaiah 66:10, 12-14

10 “Rejoice for Jerusalem (Sandy) and be glad for  her, all you who love her. Be glad with her, rejoice with her, all you who were in grief over her.

12 For this is what Yahweh says: I will send her peace, overflowing like a river; and the nations’ wealth, rushing like a torrent towards her.
And you will be nursed and carried in her arms and fondled upon her lap.
13 As a son comforted by his mother, so will I comfort you. 14 At the sight of this, your heart will rejoice; like grass, your bones will flourish. For it shall be known that Yahweh’s hand is with his servant, but his fury is upon his enemy.

The flesh avails nothing.  It is my spirit animated by Your Holy Spirit Beloved, that gives life. The world, the flesh and the devil bring ruin and death if we listen to and follow them.  You  have said, "My sheep hear my voice.  I know them and they follow Me."  To follow You Beloved and close my senses to the distractions of the world is hard.  The world is a place of noise and it can drown out the gentle, soft voice of the Spirit.

The commandment of God which gives eternal life is love of God and love of neighbor.  If I fail in the 2nd I have failed the 1st for You have said, "If you hate your neighbor whom you see how can you love God whom you cannot see?"

You promised eternal life to the rich young man but he was not prepared to give up an earthly inheritance for a heavenly one.  Help me not to cling to the the world my Beloved but to You alone.

Psalm 87:5, John 10:26

Psalm 87:5
More and more are being born in her. For the Most High Himself has founded her.

Everyday Beloved, more and more are entering the Church that You have founded.  In Your Church they find a loving and tender Mother who is ready to embrace them, welcome them and feed them on the finest wheat and the sweetest honey - Your most precious Body and Blood.

John 10:26
26 The works I do in my Father’s name proclaim who I am, but you don’t believe because, as I said, you are not my sheep.

Beloved, we are called to imitate Your works of healing, forgiving, proclaiming and loving.  In this way we witness that we belong to You, that we are Your sheep.  The works You performed in Your Father's Name proclaimed to all who You are - the Son of God.  In the same way my works, performed in Your Name, proclaim who I am.  A sheep who belongs to Your fold.

Thank You Beloved for healing and restoring an old friendship and for allowing peace and harmony to flow back into all relationships, in answer to my prayers before Your Adorable Presence in the Blessed Sacrament.

"My dear, you have cried out to Me for help and you say you are all alone.  The simple, unvarnished, inescapable, perfect truth is that you are not alone.  You are never alone. I AM present in you always.  You feel alone because you have shut Me out.  You  have not taken me into your confidence.  You are wailing and lamenting because you have pushed Me and placed Me in the role of observer.  You are not alone.  You never have been.  Do not carry your burden alone.  Give it to Me - let me take centre stage and give me complete control.  All that is required of you is to trust in Me.  Believe that I can do all things."

Psalm 100: 1-3 & 5, Revelation 7:15-17, John 10:27-30

Beloved, for the last few day, sadness like a dead weight  has been weighing down my heart and I was feeling very low.  Even as I approached You this morning to pray, I was unhappy until I read the words of the Psalm of the day which says,

Psalm 100:1-3 & 5
1 All you lands, acclaim the Lord!
2 Serve the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the Lord is God; he created us and we are his people, the sheep of his fold.
5 For the Lord is good; his love lasts forever and his faithfulness through all generations.

When I serve You Beloved, as I must, all the time, it must be with gladness - singing joyful songs of praise.  You are God and You created me to be a part of Your household.  I belong to Your sheepfold and You are my Good Shepherd who loves me and cares for me.  All my experiences of You in the past demonstrate without a shadow of a doubt that You are good and Your love for me is faithful and everlasting.  It is not dependant on whether I have sinned or not - You love me unconditionally and Your love and faithfulness will last through all generations.  Thank You for these assurances.

My Beloved I prayed to You and Your Blessed Mother to release the souls of my Sandy and Liberard and to take them to Yourself.  I thank You for  Your wonderful words of assurance and comfort in the following verses of today's 2nd reading and in the Gospel passage.

Revelations 7:15-17
15 This is why they stand before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his sanctuary.  He who sits on the throne will spread his tent over them.  16 Never again will they suffer hunger or thirst or be burned by the sun or any scorching wind.  17 For the Lamb near the throne will be their Shepherd, and he will bring them to springs of life-giving water, and God will wipe away their tears.”

I abandon myself to You my own Good Shepherd.  I throw myself on Your mercy, compassion and love.  Cover me with Your Holy Presence and fill me with Your Holy Spirit.  Amen.

John 10:27-30
27 My sheep hear my voice and I know them; they follow me 28 and I give them eternal life. They shall never perish and no one will ever steal them from me. 29 What the Father has given me is above everything else and no one can snatch it from the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

My Beloved, my own true God, I thank You for repeating the message You gave me a short while ago when I was looking for re-assurance that my dearest Sandy and Liberard were with You.  Thank You Beloved for Your kindness in comforting me.

Psalm 117:1, 2

"My dear, remember, as long as the 'I' takes centre stage and your feelings and emotions put everything and everyone else in the background, there is nothing you can see or learn from a given situation.  Stand back, see the whole picture and understand that each individual is different.  I work with the nature of each one not against it.  With some it can be extremely hard work because their nature and their circumstances have made them difficult to work with. Remember, I work patiently, slowly, tirelessly, ceaselessly and lovingly with everyone.  You do your part and pray and let Me do the work of bringing about change as I did with Saul.  Nothing is impossible for Me."

Psalm 117
1 Alleluia!
Praise the Lord, all you nations;
all you peoples, praise him.
2 How great is his love for us!
His faithfulness lasts forever.

Thank You Beloved.  Each one of us can claim for ourselves Your great love and Your faithfulness which lasts forever.

I am called to be another Christ in the world - this is what I must remember in my encounter with everyone.

Psalm 66:17 & 20, John 6:47-51

Psalm 66:17 & 20
17 I cried aloud to him, extolling him with my tongue. 20 May God be blessed!  He has not rejected my prayer; nor withheld his love from me.

My Beloved, will You forgive me .  Yesterday I allowed my grief and loss over my sister Sandy to put a cloud over my love for You.  Suffering without You is bitter and lonesome.  My True Joy, thank You for grace that has helped me understand that every human experience must be endured with You and in You.  You wept with compassion at the tomb of Lazarus and You understand my grief.  You alone can console me.  Help me never again to distance myself from You Beloved.

"My dear, remember that there is a big difference between being childish and childlike.  You have asked to be holy and perfect, don't stamp your foot like a spoilt child when I provide the opportunities to exercise the virtues in order that you may grow in holiness and perfection.

Pain and sadness for the loss of a loved one is natural, but you must remember always where your eternal home is.  You have hope precisely because you believe.  Every time you remember your sister Sandy, remember also where she is and more importantly, offer everthing you feel to Me and in union with Me to the Father.

Keep in mind what I have done for you. (Mark 10:45) 45 Think of the Son of Man who has not come to be served but to serve and to give his life to redeem many.” And remember what your response should be (Mark 10:51-52) 51 Then Jesus asked him, “What do you want me to do for you?” The blind man said, “Master, let me see again!” 52 And Jesus said to him, “Go your way, your faith has made you well.” And immediately he could see, and he followed Jesus along the road.

As the great JP II has said, "We are a resurrection people and our song is alleluia."  We are a people of hope as St. Paul reminds  us in 1TH 4:13-14 13 Brothers and sisters, we want you not to be mistaken about those who are already asleep, lest you grieve as do those who have no hope. 14 We believe that Jesus died and rose; it will be the same for those who have died in Jesus. God will bring them together with Jesus and for his sake.

Sandy believed and as Jesus tells us so beautifully today in (John 6:47-51)  47 Truly, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life.  48 I am the bread of life. 49 Though your ancestors ate the manna in the desert, they died. 50 But here you have the bread which comes from heaven so that you may eat of it and not die.  51 I am the living bread which has come from heaven; whoever eats of this bread will live forever. The bread I shall give is my flesh and I will give it for the life of the world.”

Sandy lives eternally because of Jesus in whom she believed.

Psalm 31:3-4,6-8, 17 & 21, John 6:30 & 35

My Beloved, You are a generous Lover.  When You give, You give in bounteous measure, shaken down and running over.  You do nothing by halves.  You pour out Your love as You poured out Your life without counting the cost to Yourself.  Grant me the grace to be as responsive to Your love as You are to mine.

Psalm 31:3-4, 6-8, 17 & 21
3 Give heed to my plea, and make haste to rescue me. Be a rock of refuge for me, a fortress for my safety. 4 For you are my rock and my stronghold, lead me for your name’s sake; 6 Into your hands I commend my spirit; you have redeemed me, O Lord, faithful God. 7 You hate those who worship worthless idols; but I put all my trust in the Lord. 8 I will rejoice and be glad in your love, for you have seen my affliction, you know the agony of my soul. 17 Make your face shine upon your servant; save me in your love. 21 In the shelter of your presence you hide them from human wiles; you keep them in your dwelling, safe from the intrigues of wagging tongues.

We are living in a time of great persecution in the Church, the terrible sins of a few who have breached the trust of their office as Your ministers on earth, are being used to shake its very foundations.  Evil seems to be having its day, as it is doing all in its power to silence the voice of Your Church.  Your servant Pope Benedict XVI and Your faithful followers are not afraid to call sin by its proper name.  How apt the Psalm of the day is Lord.

John 6:30 & 35
30 They then said, “Show us miraculous signs, that we may see and believe you. What sign do you perform?
35 Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall never be hungry, and whoever believes in me shall never be thirsty.

The miraculous sign of our times is this Beloved, that Your Church is the solitary voice that continues to speak loudly, boldly and fearlessly against the evils perpetuated by they world.  The world wants to silence it at all costs because it perfers to wallow in the gutter filled with the slime of sin.  The world wants men to believe that they are gods and that they have the licence to do as they please.  This evil culture is propagated in the guise of freedom of choice.  But inspite of being able to do exactly what it pleases, the world is getting hungrier and thirstier.  Only You O Bread of Life, can satisfy our hunger and thirst.

John 6:27 & 29

Beloved, the most wonderful thing in all the world is to have such a Lover as You.  Often I fear I am not equal to the task of loving You as wholeheartedly, selflessly and grandly as You love me.  Yet You say, "Don't worry about those times when you feel inadequate, I will make up the lack." Thank You my Lord.  I leap into Your arms.  I throw myself at Your feet and cling to You.  Never let me be parted from You my God.  Teach me to be perfect and holy.  Teach me to love as You do.  May my whole life be a striving to be like You.

"If you want to gain mastery over your weaknesses, perform little acts of love.  When you feel sad, lift your gaze to Me and let your face become radiant with the light of My love.  When you love Me above and before everyone else then all relationships will find their proper place.  The more you cling to earth the harder it is to seek and find Me.  Remain in My love always.  Remember to speak the truth always but do so with great humility, gentleness, respect and love."

John 6: 27 & 29
27 "Work then, not for perishable food, but for the lasting food which gives eternal life.  The Son of Man will give it to you, for He is the one the Father has marked."  28  The work that God wants is this:  that you believe in the One whom God has sent."

As long as we are preoccupied with the things of the earth or with human relationships, our minds will always be slinking around and clinging to the things of the earth.  The things of earth will eventually decay,  they will disappoint as they are all tainted with sin.  To soar on eagle's wings high above the clouds, you have to let go of any thing that holds you back - painful as  it may sometimes be, fearful even, to give up the things that are familiar and that we have looked to as our security, be they people or things.  Only when we are unencumbered do we have the freedom to go where God calls and leads.  "Whoever loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, and whoever loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me."  God is a jealous Lover.  To gain all we must be prepared to give up all and believe in the One whom God has sent.  Therein alone lies perfect freedom, perfect joy, perfect rest and above all perfect love.

John 21:1-17

John 21:1-19
1 After this Jesus revealed himself to the disciples by the Lake of Tiberias. He appeared to them in this way. 2 Simon Peter, Thomas who was called the Twin, Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, the sons of Zebedee and two other disciples were together; 3 and Simon Peter said to them, “I’m going fishing.” They replied, “We will come with you” and they went out and got into the boat. But they caught nothing that night.  4 When day had already broken, Jesus was standing on the shore, but the disciples did not know that it was Jesus. 5 Jesus called them, “Children, have you anything to eat?” They answered, “Nothing.” 6 Then he said to them, “Throw the net on the right side of the boat and you will find some.” When they had lowered the net, they were not able to pull it in because of the great number of fish.  7 Then the disciple Jesus loved said to Peter, “It’s the Lord!” At these words, “It’s the Lord,” Simon Peter put on his clothes, for he was stripped for work, and jumped into the water. 8 The other disciples came in the boat dragging the net full of fish; they were not far from land, about a hundred meters.  9 When they landed, they saw a charcoal fire with fish on it, and some bread. 10 Jesus said to them, “Bring some of the fish you’ve just caught.” 11 So Simon Peter climbed into the boat and pulled the net to shore. It was full of big fish – one hundred and fifty-three – but, in spite of this, the net was not torn. 12 Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast,” and not one of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” for they knew it was the Lord. 13 Jesus then came and took the bread and gave it to them, and he did the same with the fish.  14 This was the third time that Jesus revealed himself to his disciples after rising from the dead.  15 After they had finished breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?” He answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” And Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”  16 A second time Jesus said to him, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?” And Peter answered, “Yes, Lord, you know that I love you.” Jesus said to him, “Look after my sheep.” 17 And a third time he said to him, “Simon, son of John, do you love me?”  Peter was saddened because Jesus asked him a third time, “Do you love me?” and he said, “Lord, you know everything; you know that I love you.” Jesus then said, “Feed my sheep.

"M--- mine, do you love Me?"

"Lord You know I love You."

"Offer Me your whole life with all its joys and sorrows,  all its hurts and disappointments, united with My life, for My greater glory.  I want You to give it all to me.  Every breath you breathe, every heart beat and pulse beat.  Every thought I want to be held captive to Me.  I want You to love me exclusively, above all and before all.

You have done well to accept My Mother as your own as Your Mistress and Queen.  You have done well to consecrate yourself to her.  She will draw you ever closer to My Sacred Heart.  Do not let  earthly ties and human relationships overshadow your love for Me.  I want to take  the first and foremost place in your life everything else must come a far second."

"My Beloved, with the help of Your grace and through the power of You most Holy Spirit, I want to love You and belong to You more and more each day.  To love You and live for You gives me the greatest joy and peace.  Thank You for Your invitation to love You.  Who could refuse such a wonderful invitation to love You my own true God, King and centre of my heart and my life.  I do love You.  Nothing gives me greater satisfaction than to love You and live only for You, my God. I want to love You in the way that You wish me to love You."

"Love Me as only you can love Me.  That is the only acceptable way.  Each love is unique. No one can love Me as you can."

Peter went back to doing what he loved - it was there that the Lord found him.  (I love writing).  I will find Him in doing what I love but even here I must wait on Him.  Jesus told Peter where the fish were and he obeyed.  Jesus already had fish cooking on the shore but He asked Peter to bring some of the fish that he  had caught.  Jesus wants us to unite our work with His in order for it to have meaning, value and thus bear fruit that will last.

Psalm 33:18, John 6: 16-21

Psalm 33:18
The Lord's eyes are upon those who love Him.  Those who trust in His loving kindness.

Thank You Beloved for reminding me that Your eyes are on me and that You never take them off.  You hear and answer all my prayers and You understand me as no one else does.  I love You.

John 6:16-21
16 When evening came, the disciples went down to the shore. 17 After a while they got into a boat to make for Capernaum on the other side of the sea, for it was now dark and Jesus had not yet come to them. 18 But the sea was getting rough because a strong wind was blowing.  19 They had rowed about three or four miles, when they saw Jesus walking on the sea, and he was drawing near to the boat. They were frightened, 20 but he said to them, “It is Me; don’t be afraid.”  21 They wanted to take him into the boat, but immediately the boat was at the shore to which they were going.

Beloved, it is always dark when we believe that You are absent, life begins to overwhelm and the problems we face threaten to take us off course.  But, though we may think that You are absent, in fact You are always watching and You will come to our aid.  You will always tell us, "It is Me, don't be afraid."  We can trust You Beloved to see us safely  home.

Thank You for Your constant assurance that You are with me always and that You will  never abandon me.  You  hear and answer every one of my prayers - sometimes the answer is contrary to my expectations but Your answer is always the best one.

Friday, April 16, 2010

"M--- mine, keep your focus on Me and don't speculate about any one else.  Just as I care for you, I care about others so You can entrust everyone to Me.  If you want to be my disciple love Me with all your heart, soul, body strength and mind and love your neighbor as you love yourself.  This is all that is required of you.  Keep your gaze fixed on Me.  I will lead you, guide you, direct you.  I will teach you, form you, live in you,  breathe in you and make my home in you.  Belong to Me utterly, hold nothing back. Strive for perfection in all things. Rely on my grace and my grace alone to  help you.  Do nothing on your own strength. Call Me and I will answer.  Lean on Me always."

Psalm 34:2, 9, 18-20, 23, John 3:31-36

Psalm 34:2, 9, 18-20, 23
2 I will bless the Lord all my days; his praise will be ever on my lips.  18 The Lord hears the cry of the righteous and rescues them from all their troubles.  19 The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves the distraught. 20 Many are the troubles of the just, but the Lord delivers them from all. 23 But the Lord will redeem the life of his servants; none of those who trust in him will be doomed.

"M--- Mine, I want You to be so absorbed and immersed in Me that everything else pales into insignificance. Every thought every word, every deed must be for My greater glory.  I want You to belong to Me so completely, to love Me so fully that You will be doing here on earth in  faith, what you will be doing in love eternally in  heaven.  Belong to Me so utterly that everything on earth loses its flavor.  Hunger and thirst for Me.  Let Me be your food and drink.  Let my love and my love alone satisfy You.  Love me as I love you - without measure and without counting the cost.  The price of love is a dying to self and rising to new life in Me.  Remember this My own, everything on earth is fading and passing.  I alone remain.  Cling to Me.  Be Mine."

"O I am Yours my beloved, all Yours now and forever.  Teach me to love You and to belong to You more and more each day."

John 3:31-16
31 He who comes from above is above all; he who comes from the earth belongs to the earth and his words, too, are earthly. The One who comes from heaven 32 speaks of the things he has seen and heard; he bears witness to this but no one accepts his testimony. 33 Whoever does receive his testimony acknowledges the truthfulness of God. 34 The one sent by God speaks God’s words and gives the Spirit without measure. 35 For the Father loves the Son and has entrusted everything into his hands. 36 Whoever believes in the Son lives with eternal life, but he who will not believe in the Son will never know life and always faces the justice of God.

"M--- if your sister is now sharing in my glory what need is there to weep and mourn.  Rejoice, for where she is now someday you too will be - one in love eternally.  She is in bliss."

"My Beloved, You spoke to us through the megaphone of my dearest sister's agony, suffering and death - if this does not change us I wonder what will?"

John 12:24-26

My child, remember that you are Mine.  You belong to Me.  Your whole life must be lived to please Me and to accept joyfully all that I give You.  There is no such thing as unnecessary suffering.  All suffering has a purpose - it is to bring about a greater good.  Suffering purifies, strengthens and sanctifies.  My child, I do not want an emotional, sentimental, wishy-washy here-today-gone tomorrow kind of love.  Love Me as I love You.  I love You so much, I laid down my life for you.  Are you willing to do the same for Me?

John 12:24-26
24 Truly, I say to you, unless the grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much fruit. 25 Those who love their life destroy it, and those who despise their life in this world keep it for everlasting life.  26 Whoever wants to serve me, let him follow me and wherever I am, there shall my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

My Beloved, fill the lamp of my  heart with the oil of Your Holy Spirit and set it ablaze with the fire of Your divine love and consume me in its flames so I may be one with You always.

Acts 4: 32-33, Psalm 93:1-2, 5, John 3:7,9-10,14-15

Acts 4:32:33
The whole community of believers was one in heart and mind.  With great power the apostles bore witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, for all of them were living in an exceptional time of grace.

My Beloved, You call us too to be one in heart and mind.  After we have witnessed Sandy's union with You in the Lenten season, we too must bear witness to Your resurrection - this must be an exceptional time of  grace for us too.  Grant O Lord that it is so.

Psalm 93:1-2, 5
1 The Lord reigns, robed in majesty; the Lord is girded with strength.  The world now is firm, it cannot be moved.  2 Your throne stands from long ago, O Lord, from all eternity you are.  5 Your decrees can be trusted; holiness dwells in your house day after day without end, O Lord.

Beloved, You are God, You are King, You are almighty and all powerful.  You are the Alpha and the Omega.  I can place my trust in You for You are holy and I belong to You.  I am all Yours and I bow in humble gratitude because You are all mine.   Help me to live and move and have my being in You always.

John 3:7, 9-10, 14-15
Jesus said, "Don’t be surprised when I say: ‘You must be born again from above.’ 9 Nicodemus asked again, “How can this be?” 10 And Jesus answered, “You are a teacher in Israel, and you don’t know these things!  14 As Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, 15 so that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

We cannot live our lives licking the dust of the earth, we must set our minds on the things of heaven and God.  All our experiences of the past and our knowledge of God through faith, must help to make us wise in heavenly things.  We look at Christ raised up on the cross where all seems hopeless and lost and then we look at the empty tomb and know that death and the grave do not have the last word.  Christ has triumphed gloriously and we shout, clap rejoice and sing Alleluia!!

Tobit 7:17

Tobit 7:17
"Have courage, my child, the God of heaven and earth will change your sorrow into joy.  Have confidence my daughter."

My Beloved, all sorrow and pain are springboards from which we can fly into Your loving arms.  There we can find meaning and comfort.  Through all that has happened in the recent past, Your most holy will has been accomplished.  Help me to see that no suffering is without purpose nor is it wasted.  May all we have witnessed, transform us and help us to be better able to speak about You.

When we yield to the Holy Spirit in the various circumstances of our life, He is able to speak to us powerfully. In sorrow, heartache and tears we can allow ourselves to be open to His comfort and let His wisdom speak to us.

My beloved Jesus, You have done all that was necessary to win our salvation  but because we are such weak creatures, You sometimes give us the individual witness of those we love and whom You have chosen, to make visible and tangible what You Yourself have already done so perfectly for us.  Thank You for the gift of Sandy who preached and witnessed to Your agony and passion, so powerfully in the last weeks of her life although she did not say a word.
May every life she touched be transformed so that her living and dying will not be in vain.

Sirach 39:5-6, Psalm 118:13-15

Sirach 39:5-6
5 Early in the morning his (my) heart is set on turning to the Lord, his (my) Maker, and raising his (my) being to the Most High. He (I) open (s) his (my) mouth in prayer and make (s) supplication because of his (my) sins.  6 If such is the will of the great Lord he (I) will be filled with the spirit of discernment.

Psalm 118:13-15
13 I was pushed hard and about to fall,  but the Lord came to my help.
14 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.
15 Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just.

How true Beloved.  I thought that I would grieve and mourn for a long, long time but You have shown me that I must rejoice that my Sandy is now with You and a fitting tribute to her would be my life well lived.  She preached more powerfully than words through her suffering.  Praise You Lord!!!

John 20:31
There were many signs that Jesus gave in the presence of His disciples, but they are not recorded in this book.  These are recorded so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; believe and you will have life through His Name.

Beloved, Sandy believed that You are the Christ the Son of God, believing she has life - eternal life through Your Name.  Alleluia!!

Psalm 63:2-9, Acts 4:13, 20

Psalm 63:2-9
2 O God, you are my God, it is you I seek;
for you my body longs and my soul thirsts,
as a dry and weary land without water.
3 Thus have I gazed upon you in the sanctuary,
to see your power and your glory.
4 Your love is better than life,
my lips will glorify you.
5 I will bless you as long as I live,
lift up my hands and call on your name.
6 As with the richest food my soul will feast;
my mouth will praise you with joyful lips.
7 When I remember you on my bed
I think of you all through the night,
8 for you have been my help;
I sing in the shadow of your wings.
9 My soul clings to you,
your right hand upholds me.

My Beloved, I want to long for You and hunger and thirst for You as the Psalmist who wrote these lines longed for You and hungered and thirsted for You.  Grant me this grace my Beloved.

Acts 4:13
13 The elders and scribes were astonished at the boldness of Peter and John, considering that they were  uneducated and untrained men.  They recognized, also, that they had been with Jesus. 20 "We cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and  heard."  Then the council threatened them once more an dlet them go.  They could find no way of punishing them because of the people who glorified God for what had happened.

May all who know me and see me recognise that I have been with Jesus.  I have seen Him, tasted Him and I become one with Him in the Eucharaist.  May my witness be so powerful that all who hear me  glorify God for all that has happened.

Psalm 118:14-21
14 The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation. 15 Joyful shouts of victory are heard in the tents of the just: “The right hand of the Lord strikes mightily, 16 the right hand of the Lord is lifted high, the right hand of the Lord strikes mightily!” 17 I shall not die, but live to proclaim what the Lord has done. 18 The Lord has stricken me severely, but he has saved me from death. 19 Open to me the gates of the Just, and let me enter to give thanks.  20 “This is the Lord’s gate, through which the upright enter.”  21 I thank you for having answered me, for having rescued me.

The Lord has enabled our Sandy to partake in His passion and death and His triumph over death in the Resurrection.

I too have a mission my Beloved.  It is to testify that death is part of life.  It is a reality that must be faced.  We are only pilgrims and we must train our minds towards heaven for that is our goal and our destination.

"Follow Me!

Stop weeping and mourning  the reality - the greater reality is this - that Sandy is now with me.  This is the purpose of every life that is created to live on earth as a pilgrim on the way to  heaven.  Yes, there is a time for weeping and mourning but after the tears must come an awareness of the truth that where I am there my servants will be.

The time has come to wipe away the tears and rejoice because Sandy isnow in the company of the angels and saints and beholds the Beatific Vision.  She now lives triumphantly.

Rejoice!!!"

Luke 24:45-48

Luke 24:45-48
45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures.  And he went on, 46 “You see what was written: the Messiah had to suffer and on the third day rise from the dead. 47 Then repentance and forgiveness in his name would be proclaimed to all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. 48 Now you shall be witnesses to this.

My Beloved, please open my mind to understand all that has happened in the light of Your Word.  You have called all of us who are baptized to witness, to mission, to proclaiming the Good News.  You bless us always and make Yourself available to us in the Eucharist and through the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit.  I am called to be a joy filled Christian, one who knows the truth and whom the Truth has set free.

Give me the grace I need to allow the Holy Spirit to form me in Your image and Likeness.  Mary, my Mama pray for me.

Psalm 105:1-9, Luke 24:30-31

Psalm 105:1-9
1 Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known his works among the nations. 2 Sing to him, sing his praise, proclaim all his wondrous deeds. 3 Glory in his holy name; let those who seek the Lord rejoice.  4 Look to the Lord and be strong; seek his face always. 5 Remember his wonderful works, his miracles and his judgments, 6 you descendants of his servant Abraham, you sons of Jacob, his chosen ones! 7 He is the Lord our God; his judgments reach the whole world. 8 He remembers his covenant forever, his promise to a thousand generations, 9 the covenant he made with Abraham, the promise he swore to Isaac.

My Beloved, Your purpose for my life is that I must give thanks to You for every circumstance in my life.  I must call on Your Holy Name without ceasing.  I must speak of all that You have done always.  I must sing praise and proclaim the wonders of the work You have done.  Your Name must be my peace, joy and blessing.  I must seek my strength from You and You alone.  You who dwell in me, in the tabernacle, in the Eucharist, in nature and in my neighbor. I must constantly recall Your goodness which will give me hope, strength an dcourage.  The Lord, my Beloved will never forget that He is mine and I am His.

Luke 24:30-31
13 That same day, two of them were going to Emmaus, a village seven miles from Jerusalem, 14 and they talked about what had happened. 15 While they were talking and wondering, Jesus came up and walked with them.

30 When they were at table, he took the bread, said a blessing, broke it and gave each a piece. 31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him; but he vanished out of their sight.

My Beloved walk with me as You walked with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus and do not abandon me my Lord. I need Your help.  I need Your strength, I need Your courage during these times that are ahead.  May I recognise You always in the Breaking of the Bread.
