Proverbs 16:1, 3, 7, 9
1 Man’s heart makes plans but it is Yahweh who answers.
3 Entrust all you do to Yahweh and your plans will be realized.
7 When Yahweh is pleased with a man’s conduct, he reconciles even his enemies with him.
9 Man’s heart seeks the right way but it is Yahweh who makes his footsteps sure.
Yes, Lord, I was busy making plans but You brought each one of them tumbling down. I would rather be obedient and follow Your way than to allow pride to dictate the way I wish to go. I entrust all my plans to You, bless each one. Make us one Lord, this group that has a large heart and a willing spirit. Yes, we wish to do what is right and good and You make sure we do it. You will strengthen our will and give us grace to accomplish it.
